Highlights from the event

After a 3 hour drive, we arrived at one of the year's biggest events when it comes to exclusive and rare supercars. We're of course talking about Sportscar Event at Jyllandsringen in Resenbro, just outside Silkeborg in Jutland. The 2017 event featured an impressive lineup of some of the world's most sought after supercars and hyper cars, each model presented in its purest form, ready to take the participants' breath away.

Presentation of the cars

Among the cars that stole the spotlight were the red Ferrari LaFerrari and the silver-grey Porsche 918 Spyder, two masterpieces of automotive engineering. The Ferrari LaFerrari, with its blend of beauty and performance, comes with 963 hp, while the Porsche 918 Spyder follows closely with 887 hp.

The Porsche was said to be a touch faster than the LaFerrari from 0-100 km/h, according to various international tests. On top of the hyper cars, there were also plenty of gorgeous supercars at Sportscar Event, such as: The extremely rare English Aston Martin One-77 in grey, which suddenly showed up to everyone's great surprise! Dark grey Aston Martin One-77 sweeps past on a race track with grass in the foreground. The very fast and gorgeous McLaren 675LT Spider in dark grey. Grey McLaren 675LT Spider with the roof down takes a corner behind the wire fence at the circuit. A very popular Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster, which was driven constantly, thanks to its beautiful design, which was top notch. Definitely the most beautiful Lamborghini we've seen to date. White Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster with Italian colours down its flank takes a corner with the roof off. Two roaring and very fast Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which also spent several hours out on the track heading into the pit area. White Porsche 911 GT3 RS with a cartoon character and a large square decal on its flank runs on the circuit. White Porsche 911 GT3 RS in black zebra stripes and carrying number 911 runs at speed along the track. The quiet, but gorgeous, fast and new Honda NSX. White Honda NSX takes a corner on a race track with orange cones along the edge. And of course also supercars such as the Ford Mustang, Ariel Atom and Lotus, plus many more. Yellow Ford Mustang and a red Maserati run side by side through a corner on a race track. Black Lotus 3-Eleven with an open cockpit drives forward between red cones while an Ariel Atom and more cars wait behind. It was a true eldorado of supercars, parked and ready to take people out on an unforgettable, octane-fuelled driving experience with speed, corners and overtakes. As always at FDM Jyllandsringen, sales of co-driver rides picked up quickly, with prices ranging from 200 kr. to 5000 kr. depending on which car you chose. There were open cars, where the wind rearranges your hair a bit differently than before you stepped in. Red Lotus Seven with open bodywork drives between cones on the circuit. Two people sit in it with no roof. But there were also closed cars, where you got strapped in extra tight thanks to the car's fast driving capabilities.

The participants' experience

Guests were treated to an unforgettable day, with the chance to experience the cars up close, ride along with experienced racing drivers, and feel the true passion that only a real car enthusiast understands. Every car brand is unique and has its own sound and driving style. After standing and enjoying the sound of all the gorgeous supercars for a while, you can almost guess with your eyes closed which car is rushing past. The soundscape is, as always, very loud, which of course it should be at events like this. Passengers have to hold on tight as the cars, with tyres squealing and screaming, take the corners at high speed. It's possible to walk halfway around the track, which gives you other visual experiences. All in all a really great event, where you get a real experience while also supporting a good cause.
