Don’t miss out on the excitement and luxury that the Sportscar event at Jyllandsringen brings. This isn’t just an event – it’s a celebration of the automotive world’s most exclusive and powerful machines.
Highlights from the event
After a 3-hour drive, we arrived at one of the biggest events of the year when it comes to exclusive and rare supercars.
We are of course talking about the Sportscar event at Jyllandsringen in Resenbro just outside Silkeborg in Jutland.
The 2017 event featured an impressive lineup of some of the world’s most coveted supercars and hypercars, and each model was presented in its purest form, ready to take attendees’ breath away.
Presentation of the cars
Among the cars that stole the spotlight were the red Ferrari LaFerrari and the silver Porsche 918 Spyder, two masterpieces of automotive technology. The Ferrari LaFerrari, with its blend of beauty and performance, comes with 963 horsepower, while the Porsche 918 Spyder follows closely behind with 887 horsepower.
Ferrari LaFerrari
- Engine: 6.3L V12 + electric motor
- Horsepower: 963 HP
- Special Features: HY-KERS technology
Porsche 918 Spyder
- Engine: 4.6L V8 + two electric motors
- Horsepower: 887 HP
- Acceleration: 0-100 km/h in 2.6 seconds
The Porsche should be a tad faster than the LaFerrari from 0-100km/h according to various international tests.
In addition to the hypercars, there were also plenty of cool supercars at the Sportscar event such as..:
The extremely rare English Aston Martin One 77 in gray, which suddenly appeared to everyone’s great surprise!
The very fast and beautiful McLaren 675LT Spider in dark gray.
A very popular Lamborghini Avantador SV Roadster that drove all the time, thanks to its beautiful design, which was top notch. Definitely the most beautiful Lamborghini we have seen to date.
Two roaring and very fast Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which also spent several hours off the track into the pit area.
The quiet but stylish, fast and new Honda NSX.
And, of course, supercars such as the Ford Mustang, Ariel Atom and Lotus and many more.
It was a veritable Eldorado of supercars parked there, ready to take people on a long-forgotten octane-powered driving experience of speed, cornering and overtaking.
As always at FDM Jyllandsringen, the sale of co-driverture got off to a fast start, with prices ranging from DKK 200 to DKK 5000 depending on which car you chose.
There were open cars, where the speed winds set the hairstyle a little differently compared to before you entered the car.
But there were also closed cars, where you were strapped in extra tightly thanks to the car’s fast handling.
Participant experience
Guests were treated to an unforgettable day with the opportunity to experience the cars up close, drive alongside experienced racers, and feel the genuine passion that only a true car enthusiast understands.
Each car brand is unique and has its own sound and driving style. When you’ve been standing and enjoying the sound of the many supercars, after a while you can almost guess with your eyes closed which car is whizzing past you.
The sound image is, as always, very loud, as it should be at such events.
Passengers need to hold on tight as the tires squeal and screech as they take the curves at high speed.
It is possible to walk halfway around the track, which provides a different visual experience. All in all, a super good event where you get a treat and at the same time support a good cause.
