Porsche GT3 RS 997 proves it is fast!
At FDM Sjællandsringen I got myself a great co-driver ride in a gorgeous orange Porsche GT3 RS 997.
The Porsche has a 3.6L engine with 415 hp. 0-100 is done in 4.2 seconds and it does not stop accelerating until it hits the top speed of 310 km/h.
I get into the car and we drive slowly out towards the track. We talk a little about what I've tried before. I mention, among other things, a Bugatti Veyron.
I also challenge the driver a bit by saying "just drive as fast as you dare". The driver replies: "as I dare"?! After which the throttle is floored and I get pushed back into the seat.
Ha ha... You have to be careful who you challenge. :)
On the track we push on and overtake, among others, a Porsche 997 Carrera 4 Cabriolet.
It was a really fun ride!
