Sportscar Event on Funen offered great cars and a great atmosphere!
Sportscar Event is an annual event, which so far has only been held at FDM Sjællandsringen and FDM Jyllandsringen.
But for the first time ever, the people of Funen have succeeded in bringing the popular charity event Sportscar Event to the island.
On Funen there is no usable racetrack, which of course has been the challenge so far. Fortunately, they have now solved this problem by using Odense Airport.
Sportscar Event on Funen must therefore be said to offer a very special track. It’s not every day that you get to drive a sports car at full throttle in an airport!
Around 30 supercars were brought to the event. From Lotus, BMW and Mercedes to Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini, among others.
Despite the wind and a little rain, there was a great turnout and a good atmosphere. We look forward to next year’s Sportscar Event on Funen.
